It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but getting settled into a new home is never easy. Especially when there’s decorating to do, a housewarming to plan, a dog to take to the vet, Halloween, and Thanksgiving meal to make.

However, now that I’m slowly feeling organized (and starting on the Christmas shopping) I went to the mall last night after work and caught a movie. On the way out, I saw a game machine where the object is to cut the string and release the plush toy which has money attached to it – anything from 20 to 100 euros. The thing is – what I saw – was a bunch of tweety birds with a noose around their necks as if someone angry said “String’em up Boys!”, or perhaps they just committed group Birdicide.
