Magical Memories

Happy memories of the white Christmas,2010. The snow is gone now...

This is a collection of photographs from the snow in Dublin between 12/21/2010, which was all melted (due to rain) on 12/28/2010. I hope you enjoy some of the magical memories from my White Christmas.

Jacqui in the middle of heavy snow feeding bread to the hungry swans. The pond only had a hole in the ice about 3 feet in diameter – and the poor swans couldn’t swim – nor get to their nests which were covered in snow. Thus, they would come out of the cold water, waddling into 8 inches of snow (dragging their tummies) for everyone passing by – when they had food or not, in hopes of getting something to eat.

Christmas morning – hoarfrost on the trees – and sunlight catching on the snow/ice in the tree branches.

Paul’s Birthday

Paul's birthday and congrats to him and Anna on their engagement.

I’m not too sure how it is being born so close to Christmas – since I was born in March. That being said, I had the chance this year, to go out to the pub and celebrate two fold – not only Paul’s birthday – but also, on Christmas, Paul and Anna got Engaged.

Happy birthday Paul!!

Thus, I take a moment to say Happy Birthday Paul, and Congratulations to you both!

I guess he has Cold Feet….

I guess he was waiting for quite a while on the bus.

The storms have gone, but the travel chaos hasn’t left yet. Unfortunately, the buses aren’t running – and neither are many trains. The kids at one of the neighboring apartment complexes have a sense of humor – and built a snowman at the bus stop. Although – it’s possible that it’s not a snowman – but someone stranded, waiting on the bus for quite a while.
