Red-nosed Rabbit…what Rudolf does for Easter, taken by camera phone on Torstr. in Berlin.

15 Years of eBay… and I’ve been with them for 10 years (I started in 1999). It’s crazy to think about, and yet somehow fitting that the party for 15 years of eBay was also almost my last day in Germany. It gave me the chance to see everyone one last time and say goodbye to my work colleagues here in Germany in person.
I didn’t stay very long (it was a BBQ in the rain) but it was nice to have the chance to see everyone. For my work colleagues, thanks much for all of your well wishes. Next time we talk again, I will be in Ireland.

I gave up my apartment today. I’m a bit sad, because its been my home in Germany for the last 4 years. All things must come to an end, however, and it was time to go.
So, here’s the photos from the empty, repainted apartment – and if you know anyone who wants a ground floor flat close to nothing, where nothing happens (perfect for retirement?!?) except the occasional neo-nazi protest, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the back porch and garden, but sometimes, you think of that too late… anyhow, Goodbye Teltow, and Hello New Ireland Adventures!
