In the last few weeks, I’ve enrolled in the complete bartending course at the Dublin Bar Academy. It meant being up early – and into the city most days by 8:00 AM. Because I had to be up so early to catch the bus, I tried to take pictures of the city every morning as it woke up. So, here’s part of the collection from mornings in the city from last 3 weeks. Warning – photo heavy but hopefully you enjoy it.
The (closed) Lord Edward Pub; Lord Edward Street, Dublin.
St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Ireland in the rain. January 28,2013.
Four Courts in the Rain. Dublin, Ireland.
Dublin Cornmarket building in the Rain.
January 28, 2014 – Staying dry is not an option for the Dublin cyclists this morning… puddles, rain, and general January yucchy weather have conspired against them.
A bit of a damp one here in Dublin. Even the umbrellas are offering little protection to the pedestrians this morning.
Still raining and cold in Dublin… what a day! At least it is not snow… but then again- at least snow one can “play” in.
A bit of Francis St. In Dublin. The Liberty Belle pub next to the Viking Lodge and hotel. I am not sure but I think Vikings were not likely to support liberty or bells for that matter… oh and it is still raining. January 29, 2014.
Give us our daily bread… even if it means the poor delivery guy is up all night. January 31, 2014
