Hilarious TV ads 2 (food)

March 19th, 2011 by

Every once in a while, I catch an ad on TV – that results in me pausing / looking up, and bursting into bouts of laughter. They really do have some cute ads here in Ireland, and I think some of the funniest I’ve seen in a while. As a result, I have decided to start keeping tabs to share these.

Today’s theme… food…

I hope you enjoy!

Get in the Bowl:

Now I’m not exactly sure about this one – if it’s just funny or gross. My opinion is that the Cadburys eggs that they’re advertising are the most horrible thing ever. That being said, however, I can appreciate that others like them. (I like the chocolate not the stuff inside.) This particular ad does NOT leave me craving chocolate, and a little grossed out – and yet, somehow, it makes me giggle.

Through the Wall for Dreamies

Living in Germany, there was a distinct lack of TV ads that caught my attention (not to mention a distinct lack of “good” locally made TV programs). The move to Ireland has been an interesting one – especially because I not only have TV cable included as a part of my phone and internet, but also because it came with a TiVo type device.

This means that I’ve been catching up on TV shows while cleaning house and blogging a bit. Every once in a while, I catch an ad – that results in me pausing / looking up, and bursting into bouts of laughter. They really do have some cute ads here, and I think some of the funniest I’ve seen in a while. As a result, I have decided to start keeping tabs to share these. I guess he has Cold Feet….

I guess he was waiting for quite a while on the bus.

The storms have gone, but the travel chaos hasn’t left yet. Unfortunately, the buses aren’t running – and neither are many trains. The kids at one of the neighboring apartment complexes have a sense of humor – and built a snowman at the bus stop. Although – it’s possible that it’s not a snowman – but someone stranded, waiting on the bus for quite a while.
